Old Dutch Foods used a consumer promotion to draw attention to a sponsorship. As the official chip supplier to the Calgary Stampede, Old Dutch leveraged their access to bull riding videos to create a consumer promotion that combined Calgary Stampede footage with the chance to win great prizes. After registering, consumers chose a rodeo chute hoping to reveal a winning bull ride. The program combined a call to action with PIN code flashed on the product packaging and in-store displays to drive consumers to an online contest with a truly measurable impact.
